I think it can either b C or D

B.infrared light
C.ultraviolet light
D.red and blue light
Not sure about this one...D---??

4.What happens when light strikes the retina in our eyes?
A.Optic fibers send light to the brain
B.An image is protected on the lens of the eye
C.Light sensitive cells send impulses to the brain

You misspelled "projected" in 4B, but it's wrong anyway.
A glass of orange juice absorbs a lot of light - about half, depending upon wavelength.

The answer here is sunlight but since that isn't available in the set of answers, I would go with ultraviolet radiation

I would go with C also, although the way it works is that there is a chemical process that initiates the impulse to the brain which makes one take a second look at D before picking C.

You're right, at least according to most of the sources I can read after seeing the response by DrWLS. But I didn't think red and blue light had enough energy to induce photosynthesis which is why I went with UV. In chemistry we usually write a chemical equation like this.

A + B + energy ==> C + D
Then because we are lazy we write h(greek letter nu) for energy. And in chemistry, hnu almost ALWAYS means UV energy and not just plain energy. But I defer to the answers you and DrWLS provided.

Now, I have a follow up question. If you knew the answers, why were you posting the questions in the first place with notes that you weren't quite sure about this and that?

I didn't know the answer. I submitted them to my teachers as soon as i got confirmation that they were correct and she lets me know which ones I got wrong
