In French, how do you say "The ost useful subject is science?

I need to know how to say the science part..is it plural, like math, and is it masculine or feminine?

La matière la plus importante c'est la science.

Sra (aka Mme)

is this correct too? this is what i ended up writing:

La matière la plus utile est les sciences.

You are absolutely correct using "utile"! I never focused on the "useful" in th e question!

La matière la plus itile c'est la science. OR the sciences plural is another choice = Les sciences sont les matières les plus utiles.

Sra (aka Mme)

thank you

To say "The most useful subject is science" in French, you would say "La matière la plus utile est la science."

In French, "science" is a feminine noun, so you use the feminine article "la" before it. However, unlike "math" (which is always singular in French), "science" can be both singular and plural. In this case, since we are talking about the general concept of science, we use the singular form "la science."

To form the complete sentence, you can follow this structure:

"La matière la plus utile est" + "la science."

Remember to note the gender (feminine) and adjust the definite article ("la") accordingly if you are referring to a different subject.
