How do I solve for

.10=.9x + .14(1-x)

I keep getting x/(1-x) and I don;t know how to do that. Any help would be appreciated

.10=.9x + .14(1-x)

Get rid of parenthesis.

.10=.90x + .14 - .14x

Combine terms.

.10 = .14 + .76x

Subtract .14 from both sides.

-.04 = .76x

Divide both sides by .76 to get x alone on one side of the equation.

I hope this helps. Thanks for asking.
