Could someone show me how to get the work for:

3/4 (sqrt)-16/25 ?

The answer says 3/5i.
Could anybody tell me how to get there and work with complex fractions and simplify them? Thanks!

3/4 SQRT(-16/25)
3/4 SQRT( 16/25*-1)
3/4 *4/5 *SQRT( -1)
but the sqrt of -1 is defined as i, so
3/4 *4/5 *SQRT( -1)=
3i/5

i did this the first time, but was like... no that's not right. i feel quite dumb.
ahhh.. thank you so much!

could you help me figure out this problem lena used 7 halfsheets of newspaper to make a ball. What mixed number shows the number of sheets of newspaper she used.

To figure out the number of sheets of newspaper Lena used, we first need to determine how many whole sheets are in 7 half-sheets.

There are 2 half-sheets in 1 whole sheet. So, to convert half-sheets to whole sheets, we divide by 2.

7 half-sheets ÷ 2 = 3.5 whole sheets

Since Lena used 7 half-sheets, she used 3.5 whole sheets of newspaper.

The mixed number that represents this is 3 1/2, where 3 represents the whole sheets and 1/2 represents the remaining half-sheet.

Therefore, Lena used 3 1/2 sheets of newspaper to make the ball.
