I'm making a bibliography. There's a kind for encyclopedia and a kind for interent. My research is from an encyclopedia on the internet, so which one should I use?

Here's a good place for information on citing in MLA format:

(Broken Link Removed)

Hold your cursor over the words CITING SOURCES in the left column and then click on whatever type of source you need help with, in this case "Electronic/Internet." (Broken Link Removed) (I'd choose Article in an Online Journal.) You will get two examples for each type of reference – one for the Works Cited page and one for the parenthetical (in-text) citation.

You can also see what a Works Cited page looks like – click on Sample Works Cited in the left column.

When creating a bibliography, it is important to provide accurate and detailed information about your sources. In this case, since your research is from an encyclopedia accessed on the internet, you should format your bibliography entry accordingly.

Typically, when citing an online encyclopedia as a source, you would follow the rules for citing an online source rather than an encyclopedia specifically. This is because the content is from an encyclopedia, but the format is online. Therefore, you should use the citation style appropriate for online sources.

Here is an example of how you can create a citation for an online encyclopedia:

Author's Last Name, First Name. "Title of Article." Title of Encyclopedia, Publication Year, URL.

For instance:

Doe, John. "Global Warming." Encyclopedia of Environmental Sciences, 2021, www.example.com.

Please note that this is just an example; you should replace the author's name, article title, encyclopedia title, publication year, and URL with the specific information related to your source.

Remember to consult a style guide, such as MLA, APA, or Chicago, for specific formatting rules, as they may differ slightly depending on the citation style you are using.
