  1. John... If you only have two friends, then #2 is correct. I think that you wanted to say "Write down the names of two of your friends."

    Here we would say "I am in the (6th) or (7th) grade." Middle schools begin with one of those two.

    Both 6 and 7 are correct and are interchangable.
