Write a rule for this pattern.Fing the next three numbers in the pattern.
1,4,10,22,46,94
the answer that i came up with was that the pattern start with one add 3 and it goes by 3's or 6's.
Please and Thank- you
Can you see that each term after 1 is the previous term + 1, then multiplied by 2?
Thus 4= 2(1+1), 10=2(4+1), 22=2(10+1), 46=2(22+1), etc...
Can you find the next 3 terms now?
4,10.22,46,94
−12,60,−300,1500,
To find the next three numbers in the pattern, you can apply the rule you've identified. Start with the last number given, which is 94.
Step 1: Add 1 to the previous term.
94 + 1 = 95
Step 2: Multiply the result by 2.
95 * 2 = 190
Step 3: Repeat steps 1 and 2 with the new result.
190 + 1 = 191
191 * 2 = 382
Step 4: Repeat steps 1 and 2 with the new result.
382 + 1 = 383
383 * 2 = 766
Therefore, the next three numbers in the pattern are 190, 382, and 766.
