Here are my answers for 11-14, please don't copy and paste because the teachers will know, instead change some words out if you want to use it. Thank you :)

11. First, the writer starts by stating that "Forests cover about 31% of the land on Earth, but, sadly, that number is decreasing at a rapid rate.". They then later state that "A natural loss of trees might come from a fire, for example, but deforestation done by humans is more common and involves removing trees to make room for something else.” Thus, starting to expand their point that humans are ruining woods on the earth. Afterwards, they say that "This can include clearing the land for farming or using the wood from trees for fuel, construction, or manufacturing." This is the main idea that they were trying to lead up to.
12. The writer stated that "In truth, though, we already have a great variety of stores downtown—over 200 of them.". They then later state that "Extending Highway 85 would give shoppers a reason to avoid downtown altogether—likely dooming many small businesses and leaving buildings vacant.” This is the main idea that they were trying to lead up to.
13. Every writer of a persuasive text should address conflicting points of view and evidence by, first trying to either support their own evidence and confirm it is correct. Another thing they should do is be prepared, search for imperfections in their own evidence so they can anticipate the opposing perspectives to hit on that imperfection. You also should examination other perspectives and search for imperfections in their evidence to form your debate more forceful. Most importantly you should be prepared, do full-on research so you can answer pretty much all of questions another person has to disprove you.
14. Claim 2 is a sounder argument in my opinion. It states that yes, we should use less plastic but banning the use of them is not the answer right away. I believe this is a sounder debate cause Claim 1 has a not very sound argument because they use topics that A: everyone understands and tries to do better. B: uses very little evidence but tries to show it off by using big pieces of evidence. While claim 2 has plenty of evidence people didn't hear about it also makes claims that it is more reliable than glass and fewer trees dwindle via more oxygen. Therefore, claim 2 is a stronger and sounder claim in my opinion.
