I've seen the exclamation point (!) put after numbers (ex. 3!), but I don't know what they mean. Can somebody tell me the steps on solving a problem like this? Thanks!!

! means factorial.

5! means 5*4*3*2*1

5!/3! means (5*4*3*2*1)/(3*2*1) which is equal to 5*4 or 20
