Compare and contrast the U.S. Constitution with the current Texas Constitution.

Similar- same general principals, both have bill of rights, and same legislator (3 branches separated)

Different- Us has and had only one constitution, and Texas had six other constitutions, Us has 27 amendments and Texas has 474, and there date of implementation is different,(Us-1789, Tx-1876)

Am I right?

So, this one is interesting, but I was able to dig up the answer.... (DO NOT COPY AND PASTE OR YOU WILL FAIL)

While the Texas Constitution grants Texans similar rights to the U.S. Constitution, the Texas Constitution is much more specific regarding exactly when these rights are infringed upon. While it may seem like this specificity would make legal matters cut and dry, in practice it can greatly complicate things. Filing a Lawsuit Under the Texas Constitution. There are generally two types of lawsuits filed under the Texas Constitution: facial challenges and “as applied” challenges.

As for the second essay question, this one was a little harder to find the answer to, but I eventually found it.

Texas has had its underwater areas for long as it has existed. when it was discovered there was all deposits there of course the federal government wanted to take it away from Texas who was a recognized owner of the land. it was a case where the stay in the Federation had to fight in Supreme Court. politics were changing because Texas started hating on anyone who tried to take it away from them so what they did is they switch their presidential support based on this.

Anyways, like I said do not copy and paste because you will get caught (many of my friends did) If you do get caught, I do not take the blame because you are the ones who decided to cheat. Either way, it's important to learn the subject. I would suggest reading up on it then putting it in your own words. It's not that hard. Yes, you are correct in pointing out some similarities and differences between the U.S. Constitution and the current Texas Constitution. Here is a breakdown of your points:

Similarities:
1. General Principles: Both the U.S. Constitution and the Texas Constitution are based on similar principles such as the separation of powers, individual rights, and the concept of government by the people.
2. Bill of Rights: Both constitutions guarantee individual rights and liberties through a Bill of Rights.
3. Three Separate Branches: Both constitutions establish three separate branches of government: the executive, legislative, and judicial branches.

Differences:
1. Number of Constitutions: While the United States has only one constitution that has been in effect since its ratification in 1789, Texas has had multiple constitutions throughout its history. The current Texas Constitution, adopted in 1876, is the seventh constitution in the state's history.
2. Number of Amendments: The U.S. Constitution has had 27 amendments since its ratification. On the other hand, the Texas Constitution has been amended a significant number of times, with 474 amendments as of now.
3. Dates of Implementation: The U.S. Constitution was implemented in 1789 after being ratified by the original thirteen states, whereas the current Texas Constitution was adopted in 1876 when Texas became a state.

To summarize, the U.S. Constitution and the current Texas Constitution share some common principles and structures but differ in terms of the number of constitutions, the number of amendments, and the dates of implementation.
