Olivia reads 2/5 of her book on Monday. On Tuesday she reads 1/6 of what is remaining. On Wednesday she reads the final 35 pages. How many pages are in the book?

    Monday: reads (2/5)x leaving (3/5)x
    Tuesday: reads (1/6)(3/5)x = (1/10)x
    Wednesday: reads remaining 35

    (2/5)x + (1/10)x + 35 = x
    multiply by 10
    4x + x + 350 = 10x
    350 = 5x
    x = 70

    the book had 70 pages
