Do I do sig figs for answers that are still needed for other calculations?

For example, if I am calculating the molarity (0.005123 mol / 0.30L) = 0.017077 M, the sig figs would be 0.017 right?, but what if I need this molarity to do another calculation? Should I use the sig figs answer or the full answer?

Also, if you are calculating the average, would you do the sig figs then calculate the average or calculate the average and then find the sig figs?
