Guru, thanks so much for your help with the novel idea; it's the one I chose. I'm in the brainstorming process right now for the novel but after I am done I would like for you to see it except I don't know how since you can't copy paste on Jiskha..anyways thanks a million again!! =]

I have no problem copying and pasting from a Word document. Try it with just a sentence or so.

I did, a while ago and it just doesn't come up..i don't know why

If you have any kind of numbered or bulletted list in what you tried to post, it won't post. (Bullets are those black dots in front of items in a list.)

Did you?

No

It was just a long document, a long time ago.
I don't really need to paste anything at the moment, I'm just saying that after I'm done with the novel I'll need to

MC, good! I am glad you liked the "idea". Have fun! and remember writing a novel takes TIME! and lots of rewriting...and walking around thinking...and more rewriting....

Then just sort of let the characters grow.

Got it...thanks for all the help Guru!!

You're welcome! I'm glad I could help you with your novel idea. I would be more than happy to see your finished work once you're done with the brainstorming process. While you can't directly copy and paste the text here on Jiskha, there are a few ways you can share your work with me:

1. Summarize: Instead of copying and pasting the entire text, you can provide a brief summary or an excerpt from your novel. This way, I can still understand the key elements and provide feedback or guidance based on that.

2. Share a link: If you have your novel saved online, you can share a link with me. You can upload your work to a platform like Google Drive, Dropbox, or a writing platform like Wattpad or Scribophile. Simply copy the link and share it here, so I can access and review your work.

3. Send a document: If you have your novel as a separate file (like a Word document), you can send it to me via email or a file-sharing service. Just let me know, and I can guide you on how to send the document to me securely.

Remember, it's essential to prioritize your privacy and ensure you are comfortable sharing your work. Choose a method that you feel most comfortable with, and I'll be here to provide feedback and support for your novel. Good luck with your brainstorming process, and I look forward to seeing your work when you're ready!
