If there are 3 blue marbles, 2 red marbles, and 4 green marbles in a bag, what is the probability of drawing 2 red marbles if you replace the first one after you draw it?

Do you have answer choices?

no

I could be wrong, but since there are 9 marbles altogether and only 2 red marbles, i'd say 2/9. But, like i said, i could be wrong.

it says its 4/81... kinda confusing but ok

thanks for trying tho!

Oop. IDK how that is the answer. Maybe if you google it you'd find out how. Thanks for the answer on mine

Use this:

varsity tutors . com / gre_math - help / how - to - find - the - probability - of -an - outcome

np

each draw has chance of 2/9

so two draws has chance of 2/9 * 2/9 = 4/81

oooh. makes sense now. So (2/9)^2?
