Sam threw the ball causing the ball to get caught in the tree. The tree was high making it hard to get the ball. The wind blew causing the ball to fall from the tree back to Sam.

Jesse had been playing basketball all morning, he had been having fun playing with a few of his friends, the score was 3 - 4. Jesse had missed his shot and went to rebound the ball, but when he had thrown it back up, he put to much force into throwing the ball causing the ball to get jammed in between the rim and backboard. Jesse was annoyed at missing the shot again but he went and shook the hoop anyways. After shaking the hoop for a few moments the ball finally ended up getting lose enough to fall back down.
