Suppose a person built a sandcastle of moon sand on the moon. What would that person find there a month later?
A. The sandcastle would have grown larger by collecting more sand particles because moon sand is blown by wind.
B. The sandcastle would be much smaller because changing winds would have eroded much of the sand away.
C. The sandcastle would remain in place the same size that it was because the moon has no wind.
D. The sandcastle would have grown larger because moon sand particles attract other moon sand particles.
surely not A or B, since the moon has no air. So it can have no wind.
Not D because the moon attracts all sand particles straight downward. The attraction one sand particle has on those around it cannot overcome the downward force; they will not move around on the surface.
Thank You!!! I could not find the answer and it was a test!!!! Thank You!!!!!!!!
thx conexse girl
