My question is, what would f'(c) in this problem? How do I find it?
f(3) = 9
f(1) = 1
change in f = 8 while change in x = 2
average slope = 8/2 = 4
f'(x) = 2 x , the derivative
where does 2 x = 4 ?
x = 2
lo and behold, 2 is between 1 and 3
