  1. Measure insulin and glucagon levels in the blood. If blood glucose levels are too low, insulin levels will be too high and glucagon levels will be too low if nothing is wrong with the instrumentation used to measure glucose levels.

  2. Just to add, I don't think anyone on this form know how specifically they measured blood glucose levels to know what's wrong with instrumentation.
