Differentiate between physical and chemical changes

A physical change is one that does not change the composition of the substance; i.e. freezing water to ice, boiling water to steam, stirring a bowl of cereal etc. A chemical change is one in which the composition is changed; i.e., burning a piece of paper, digestion of food, etc.
