The following graph shows the number of soccer games a team won in each of their first three seasons. Explain how you could redraw the graph so that the change in wins between the three seasons does not seem so great.
The graph goes from 10 in season 1 to 8 in season 2 to 7 in season 3.

    you could use a semi-log graph paper.

    I guess the real question is, why does this small difference look so big?
    If it's a bar graph, starting with 7 on the x-axis, then that would magnify the appearance of change. Start each bar at 0, rather than 7.

    Maybe you should explain why the graph seems to indicate a big change. By the time you have done that, you may see a way to counter that perspective.
