How to I get 220 from √((110√3)^2 +(110-220√3)^2)?

√((110√3)^2 +(110-220√3)^2)

110√(√3^2 + (1-2√3)^2)
110√(3+13-4√3)
110√(16-4√3)
220√(4-√3)
331.31
I have no idea how that is supposed to be 220

i'm not exactly sure what it is that you're asking but if you're simply asking for the sum of √((110√3)^2 +(110-220√3)^2) it's 331.31365941 but if you need a further explanation, go this website called ( hack math . net )

I always use this website for my math so I promise u won't get a virus or anything like that but hopefully this helps : )

can I move the √3 and - on the 220 over to 110 and get -(110√3)^2? Then I can cancel out (110√ 3)^2 and get just (√220.)^2. From that I will get 220. That what I think might work.

if you move the √3 and the - i think that it'll work but if it doesn't go back and see if there is anyway to simplify or shorten the problem

confirming oobleck.

Oh and if you do go to that website just type in ur problem in the search bar and then the answer comes up with the explanation on how u get the answer

thank you oobleck, i wans't to sure how it amounted to 220 as well but math these days don't make sense
