What is the small flap at the back of your throght that keeps you from choking

Epiglottis

Sorry, I will keep my name Trikzz

Next time say what you think it is.

The epiglottis is a stiff flap of cartilage located above and in front of the larynx. During swallowing, the epiglottis covers the opening to the larynx to prevent food and fluids from entering the trachea. Thus, the epiglottis protects the lungs.

hope this helps..

thankyou

Trikzz -- I asked you earlier today to pick ONE screen name and keep it. Name switching is like spamming, and you can be put on timeout until you learn the lesson.

Your very welcome.
