Why do you have to use estimation to find the number of triangles you need for the string?

It gives you more of a rational number, For example it'd be odd to put half of something on something thats full.

(Don't know if this helped much sorry If I didn't do it right but I tried <3

Thanks guys

Estimation is used to find the number of triangles needed for the string because it is often impractical or too time-consuming to count every single triangle in a given situation. Estimating can provide a reasonably accurate approximation without having to perform a detailed and exhaustive count.

To estimate the number of triangles needed for a string, you can consider a few different approaches:

1. Visual estimation: If you have a physical string or a picture of it, you can visually estimate the total number of triangles. Divide the string into smaller sections and count the number of triangles in each and then extrapolate to estimate the total number.

2. Sampling: Take a small representative sample of the string and count the number of triangles within that sample. If the sample is truly random and representative of the whole, you can then use that count as a baseline to estimate the total number of triangles in the entire string.

3. Mathematical estimation: If you can figure out the pattern or structure of the string, you may be able to formulate a mathematical model to estimate the number of triangles. This approach requires some understanding of the pattern or the mathematical relationship involved.

Remember, estimation is not always exact, but it can provide a reasonably accurate answer quickly and efficiently without requiring a comprehensive count of every single triangle in the string.
