Solve the simultaneous equations, giving your answers in base two.

11x +11y =1001
10x - y =11
Pls help

I will assume your equations are written in base 2

method 1, change everything to base 10, solve, then change answer to base 2
11x +11y =1001---> 3x + 3y = 9 or x + y = 3
10x - y =11------> 2x - y = 3
add them: 3x = 6
x = 2, then from x+y=3, y = 1
So in base 2, x = 10, y = 1

method 2, work in base 2
11x + 11y = 1001 , divide by 11, ----->
x + y = 11
second equation:
10x - y = 11
Add them
11x = 110
divide by 11
x = 10
then from x+y=11, we get y=1

Please could you explain better

Another method

I want mathematics teacher

11x+11y=1001 and 10x-y=11

Just make use of the first method it's much easier. Change both equations to base10 which is quite easy, when you get your new equation solve simultaneously then you get your values for x and y. Then convert it back to base 2 by dividing by 2

X=110

Y=10

X=10,y=1

Divide 225125 base6 by 101 base 6 in long division

11x+10y=10001
