First of all, you need to find a way to organize the ideas you do come up with. Here are some graphic organizers that you can print out:

Choose the Venn or the T-chart or the Y-chart. List the differences in the outer parts of the Venn or the different columns of either of the other two. List their similarities in the middle of the Venn or across the top of the T or Y charts.
