The question is, Write a 3- to 5-sentence summary of one myth you just heard before moving on to the next page to continue the lesson. And the thing is about King Midas. Can someone help me?

If you write the summary, I'll check it for you.

The myth itself is in your reading assignment, correct?

OK, so you should be able to replay that video as many times as you need, right?

Okay, i'll write a summary.

And no, Myths and legends is a voice recording of a video. And i have to write a 3-5 sentences about about what that video says.

Okay, here is what i got.

The most famous King Midas is popularly remembered in Greek mythology for his ability to turn everything he touched into gold. This came to be called the golden touch, or the Midas touch. The Phrygian city Midaeum was presumably named after this Midas, and this is probably also the Midas that according to Pausanias founded Ancyra. to Aristotle, legend held that Midas died of starvation as a result of his "vain prayer" for the gold touch.

Should i add or take away anything?

Do. Not. Plagiarize.

If you are not clear on what plagiarism is and how NOT to plagiarize from a source, read through this entire webpage from Purdue University:

You have copied this from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Midas

Close the Wikipedia window, listen again to the myth video you were given, and try again.

Oh.

Okay.

Here. I tried this.

King Midas was a well known king. He was mainly known from a well known legend. Call, The Gold Touch. Or Midas Touch. The myth was named that because some people say he had a golden touch. And that anything he touched, turned to gold. But nobody could really find this out, That's why its a myth.

Anything i should add or take away?

(Sorry for copying from a website.)

Delete these parts:

He was mainly known from a well known legend. Call, The Gold Touch. Or Midas Touch.
But nobody could really find this out, That's why its a myth.

You've only told who the myth is named for and the barest of reasons why. I hope that video tells what happened to him and how he reacted.

in 3-5 sentences, summarize each myth

Certainly! The myth of King Midas tells the story of a king who has the power to turn everything he touches into gold. At first, he rejoices in this ability, but soon realizes the consequences as his food, loved ones, and even his own daughter turn into lifeless gold statues. He begs the gods to remove this curse, and they grant his wish by telling him to wash away his greed in the river. This myth serves as a cautionary tale about the consequences of excessive desire and the importance of valuing what truly matters.
