First you need to research. Then brainstorm. Then -- write your thesis statement.

After you've done those steps, write an outline.

If you need help from there - please post another question.

Good!! What is your thesis statement?

Ok, Thank you so much! I already brainstormed and researched. I made a venn diagram and a chart describing each of the basics, Economics Religion etc. πŸ˜ƒπŸ‘

Another question, is this a reliable resource for my thesis statement?

Ashford Writing. Its a tool that generates your thesis statement
Should i use it?

I don't know. Try it and see what you get.

Ok. just another question? r u really a teacher for connexus? do u go to the capistrano one?

I am not a teacher for connexus!!!

I am a teacher -- but have nothing to do with any school.

This is the thesis statement is gave meThesis Statement Model #1: Sample Thesis Statement

Greek and Roman Civilizations were the foundation of our current lives

Thesis Statement Model #2: Thesis with Concession
Notice that this model makes a concession by addressing an argument from the opposing viewpoint first, and then uses the phrase "even though" and states the writer's opinion/main idea as a rebuttal.

Even though The civilizations had some wrong theories, Greek and Roman Civilizations were the foundation of our current lives

Thesis Statement Model #3: Thesis with Reasons
Here, the use of "because" reveals the reasons behind the writer's opinion/main idea.

Greek and Roman Civilizations were the foundation of our current lives because They also had a religion that worshipped gods, They helped through economics by farming, and They helped in through arts.

Thesis Statement Model #4: Thesis with Concession and Reasons
This model both makes a concession to opposing viewpoint and states the reasons/arguments for the writer's main idea.

While The civilizations had some wrong theories, Greek and Roman Civilizations were the foundation of our current lives because They also had a religion that worshipped gods, They helped through economics by farming, and They helped in through arts.

Hello Belle! I can help you with organizing your essay on Ancient Civilizations. First, let's break down the structure of your essay.

In a typical 5-paragraph essay, you will have an introduction, three body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Here's a breakdown of what each section should include:

1. Introduction: This paragraph should introduce your topic and provide some background information on Ancient Civilizations. It should also include your thesis statement, which summarizes the main point of your essay.

2. Body Paragraphs: Each body paragraph should focus on a specific aspect of Ancient Civilizations. You can choose different civilizations to discuss, or you can focus on specific themes or topics within Ancient Civilizations. Each paragraph should start with a topic sentence that introduces the main idea of the paragraph. Then, you should provide evidence and examples to support your topic sentence. Aim for around 5-8 sentences in each body paragraph.

3. Conclusion: The conclusion should summarize the main points you made in your essay. Restate your thesis statement and provide a closing thought or reflection on Ancient Civilizations. The conclusion should generally be around 3-5 sentences.

Regarding your works cited page in APA format, you should list all the sources you used in your essay. Here's how to format it:

1. Start a new page at the end of your essay and title it "References" at the top.

2. List your sources alphabetically by the author's last name.
- If there is no author, use the title of the source.
- If there are multiple works by the same author, list them in chronological order, with the earliest work first.

3. Use a hanging indent for each entry (the first line is flush left, and subsequent lines are indented).

4. For each source, include the following information:
- Author(s)' last name and initial(s)
- Year of publication
- Title of the work
- Source (journal, book, website, etc.)
- DOI or URL (if applicable)

Make sure to follow the specific guidelines provided by your teacher or refer to the APA style guide for detailed instructions.

I hope this helps! Good luck with your essay on Ancient Civilizations!
