Geometry Solid Geometry Cylinders
The radius of a cylinder is 3.5 ft. The height is 14 ft. Find the surface area and volume of the cylinder to the nearest tenth of a foot. Show your work.
Need help asap
surface area:
A=2πrh+2πr2
=2·π·3.5·14+2·π·3.52
≈384.8451
volume:
V=πr2h
=π·3.52·14
≈538.78314
I did 3.5 x 14 and then divided that answer by 3.14 and got 15.60509554140127. I don't know how to do this please help.
