what is the resistivity of a cylindrical materia wire whose 1.0 length has a resistant of 2.0ohm the diameter of the wire is 0.5mm

length=1.0 metre

resistance=2.0 ohms
diameter= 0.5mm=0.0005m=5*10^-4
radius = diameter/2 =0.5/2mm=0.25mm=0.00025m=2.5*10^-4
area= pi*r^2= 22/7 * (2.5* 10^-4)^2 =22/7*6.25*10^-8= 1.94*10^-7
substituting into the formula we have;
R=p*l/a
2=p * 1.0/1.96*10^-7
2=5.102*10^-8p
2/5.102*10^-8=p
p=3.920*10^-9
therefore the resistivity of the cylindrical material = 3.920*10^-9

I have already posted the answer here is the question

what is the resistivity of a cylindrical material wire whose length is 1.0 metre and has a resistance of 2.0ohms and a diameter of 0.5mm
don't forget the unit ohmmeters
thanks

Given: Length = 1.0 m.

R = 2.0 Ohms.
Dia. = 5*10^-4 m. r = 2.5*10^-4 m.
A = pi*r^2 = 3.14 * 6.25*10^-8 = 1.863*10^-7 m^2.

R = P*L/A.
2 = P*1.0/1.86*10^-7,
2 = 5.37*10^6P,
P = 3.72*10^-7 Ohm-meters.

Please, give me the correct answer, please

Length=1.0m , radius=0.5/2=0.25mm^2. To meter =2.5*10^-4m, Area of a circle=22/7*2.5*10^-4, P=RA/l, 2*22/7*[2.5*10^-4] =3.93*10^-7. KG TWO WORK

E .A.A u made a mistake in solving, check ( 2.5*10^-4)^2

You got 6.25* 10-8
Is suppose to be 6.25*10^-16
And the final answer is = 3.93*10^-7

Pls which one is the correct answer?

or having your parameters and area you can solve it like dis

p=RA/L
=0.000000196/1.0
=0.000000392 or 3.92*10^-7
check for the post of the parameters on the post by E.A.A. DAMMY

Length=1.0m , radius=0.5/2=0.25mm^2. To meter =2.5*10^-4m, Area of a circle=22/7*2.5*10^-4, P=RA/l, 2*22/7*[2.5*10^-4] =3.93
