hi, i'm doing corrections and need to know if this answer is correct to turn in.

Question: Why was Yemen's Civil war so complex?
My answer: The Yemen's Civil War was so complex because no one could agree on things. The governments were 'batteling' for power and then a war broke out. many other countries were/got involve in this war but not as severly. Please let me know soon Ms.Sue or Writeacher!

Yes! :) thank you Writeacher this was really helpful!

Who was "no one"? Which groups of people were involved?

Which "governments"?

"batteling"? <~~ sp

"a war broke out" -- separately from the civil war? or do you mean this particular civil war?

"many other countries" -- which ones? And are you going to put a capital letter at the beginning of that sentence?

"were/got involve" -- decide on ONE verb and make sure it's spelled right.

"severly" -- spelling? And what's meant by this? Worse than in other countries? If so, which other countries?

Okay, i'm sorry and i will fix that right now, but thank you for responding and helping! By severely I meant they were not as involved as others. And battling*. And many other countries got* involved like Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Egypt, Morocco, Jordan, Sudan and Senegal. The two main groups/governments were Yemen and the Houthi group. The war i am talking about is the Yemen civil war.

My fixed answer: The Yemen's War was so complex because the Yemen government and the Houthis were always arguing and couldn't agree on things. These two governments were usually 'battling' for power and then the Yemen's Civil War broke out. Many other countries got involved like Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Egypt, Morocco, Jordan, Sudan and Senegal but they were not as involved as the Houthi and Yemen.

I hope this is better Writeacher

Much better! I still have questions, but then I always have questions!

Did the Houthis have a government separate from Yemen's government? How were they different? Did the Houthis have control over a large portion of what is now known as the country of Yemen? Or what?

Why do you have quotation marks around the word battling?

Remove the word "the" in front of "Yemen" in two places, and at the very beginning, I'd write, "Yemen's civil war ... "

I put quotations around battling because I guess i guess they were battling over it but it wasn't so much physical fighting. Should I change the word?

And thank you so much this helped a lot!

I'd keep the word, but remove the quotation marks. All battles don't have to be physical, right? =)

You're very welcome!
