Gabriella went skiing. She paid $35 to rent skis and $15 an hour to ski. If she paid a total of $95, how many hours did she ski? Write an equation to represent the situation and solve it.

I know the answer is about 6, but how I write the equation?

35 + 15h = 95

WOW YOU"RE A LIFE SAVER

So I am confused..... The problem is like this 35 + 15h= 95 right? So I subtract 35 from 95 to get 60. Then I divide 60 by 15 to get 4. But the person who posted the question says the answer is 6???????

Here is the answer!

As Ms. Sue said, the algebraic equation is 35 + 15h = 95. Now, you need to solve for h. So, you first need to subtract 95 - 35 to get 60. Now we just need to divide 60 by 15 to get 4. So, Gabriella skied for 4 hours.
Hoped this helped ! :)

;-; I’ve been trying to get help bc I’ve been working on this problem for 20mins can someone just help ;-;

look at ms sue saving my life

She would of went ski for 4 hours because if you subtract 35 for 95 you get 60 and 60 divide by 15 is 4 so it would be 4 hours

I need to solve it on: graphing, equations, and inequalities Unit test part 2. I have the equation but now I just need to solve it😭🖐 help me pls i need to bring meh grade up-

wait not first subtract 95-35 than divide that by 15

Q: Abriella went skiing. She paid $35 to rent skis and $15 an hour to ski. If she paid a total of $95, how many hours did she ski? Write an equation to represent the situation and solve it.

A: 35+15=50=1hr
50+15=65=2hrs
65+15=80=3hrs
80+15=95=4hrs
Therefore she had to have ski'd for 4 hours 😇 ur welcome!

P.S. sub to me on @Cartooni Strays
