consider two charges q1 = 3µC and q2= -2 µC, what happens to the electric force if the distance between the charges is double (multiplied by two).

From what I understand since the distance is doubled, it decreases by 4 times. This is because electrical force is a function of 1/r^2. BTW found the answer on yahoo
