Hi, I completely understand that you're lost. The way this school "teaches" is by giving assignments with little to no guidance. Its just a bunch of reading and answering. The education system is already bad enough, this just makes it worse. We only take in about 20% of what we actually read. Discussions are WAY better, it actually gets kids thinking about what they are being asked. Anyway, having said that, I also think you should try to educate yourself! Take what they are giving you, and do your own research. Watch videos if it makes it easier to understand, or discuss the questions with a friend! You deserve to pass, so do your best and take it in your own hands.

i dont get it whats the answer.!?

The correct answer is B. The UK government is growing more regional.

To arrive at this answer, we can examine each option and eliminate the incorrect ones:

A. The EU ordering the change is not the reason why Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales gained their own legislatures. While the EU has influence over some aspects of governance in member countries, the devolution of powers to these countries was a decision made at a national level.

B. The UK government growing more regional is the correct answer. Devolution refers to the transfer of powers from a central government to regional authorities. This is what happened in the case of Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales. The UK government recognized the need for more local decision-making and greater autonomy for these regions. As a result, each of these countries now has its own legislative body with varying degrees of decision-making authority.

C. The statement that "the British parliament had grown too far to be official" does not accurately reflect the reason for devolution. The British parliament is still the central legislative body for the entire UK, but devolved legislatures were established to give more power and decision-making authority to the regions.

D. Neither Northern Ireland, Scotland, nor Wales have gained independence from the UK. Devolution does not imply independence but rather the transfer of certain powers from the central government to regional authorities.

Therefore, the correct answer is B. The UK government is growing more regional.
