(B) 9 capsules; 45 mL (but the answer key says 50 mL)

1 lbs = 453.592 g
so .8 lbs = 362.87236 g = .36287 kg
daily dosage = 50 mg/kg
daily dosage for our bird

b = 18.14368
so each dosage = 9.07.. , you are correct for a)
