So, I've done all my other short response questions... Then, I stumble on one that has had me stumped for TWO days:

What conclusion can you draw about the comparative advantage other countries have in farming over Japan and the Koreas?

I've been trying to come up with anything. However, I'm left with absolutely nothing but an introduction:

There are multiple factor that benefit and demerit farming and agriculture worldwide, such as, Water accessibility, sunlight, location, temperature, adaptation. Japan and the Koreas are no different.

I know this is practically nothing, but I have no idea what to write about. I really didn't want it to come down to this. I'm not asking for you to help me cheat, all I want is some help, or a link, or something, anything.
The worst feeling in the world to me is failing a test, so please help me keep that from happening. Thank you so much.

What geographic features do both Japan and Korea share that make farming difficult or impossible?

That's just it. I have absolutely no idea. Is there an article I can read somewhere? I looked through my lessons again and couldn't find anything that talked about it!

Thank you so much, Mrs. Sue! Have a blessed day.

I understand that you've been struggling with a question about the comparative advantage of farming in Japan and the Koreas. It's great that you've already identified some key factors that can affect farming and agriculture, such as water accessibility, sunlight, location, temperature, and adaptation. These can indeed be important considerations when analyzing comparative advantage in farming.

To answer this question, you'll need to consider how each factor affects farming in Japan and the Koreas, and then compare them to other countries. Here's a step-by-step approach to help you gather information and formulate a conclusion:

1. Research and gather information:
- Look for data on agricultural productivity, crop yields, and agricultural practices in Japan and the Koreas.
- Consider factors such as climate, topography, soil quality, and access to technology and resources in these regions.
- Compare this information with data from other countries known for their farming and agriculture sectors.

2. Analyze the data:
- Examine how each factor, such as water accessibility, sunlight, location, temperature, and adaptation, influences farming in Japan and the Koreas.
- Compare these factors with those of other countries known for their agricultural strengths.
- Look for trends or patterns in the data that can help identify any comparative advantages or disadvantages.

3. Formulate a conclusion:
- Based on the analysis of the data, determine whether Japan and the Koreas have a comparative advantage or disadvantage in farming compared to other countries.
- Consider the strengths and weaknesses of these countries in terms of agricultural resources, technologies, and productivity.
- Remember that a conclusion doesn't have to be definitive or absolute. It should reflect your interpretation of the evidence you've gathered.

If you're still unsure or need more specific information, I suggest conducting further research on reliable sources such as government agricultural reports, academic papers, or international agricultural organizations' databases.

Remember, the process of analyzing and drawing conclusions based on evidence is an important skill that goes beyond simply finding the answer to a specific question. Good luck with your assignment!
