The graph below shows a crow flying along at a constant speed, carrying a ball. Suddenly, the crow drops the ball. The diagram shows the position of the crow and the ball at five points in time. According to the trend shown by the graph below, at what height was the ball most likely at 3.5 seconds? (2 points)

This question made no sense to me and I don't understand it.

A) approximately 58 m
B)approximately 39 m*******
C)approximately 50 m
D)approximately 30 m

I'm assuming that graph show the position of the ball at times of 1,2,3,4,5,...

The height at t=3.5 will be somewhere between the values at 3 and 4, right?

so, ... how did you arrive at your selected answer?

I get what i did wrong i was looking at the bird and i thought it was going left not right so it cannot be 39 m. SO it should be 58 m?

Am i right? Cause im still kinda confused.

Please help me. Am i right?

Im reposting this because i need help.

To determine the height of the ball at 3.5 seconds based on the graph, you need to analyze the trend shown. Let's break down the steps:

1. Look at the graph: Examine the graph provided and observe the position of the crow and the ball at different points in time.

2. Identify the time value: Locate the point on the graph where the time is 3.5 seconds.

3. Observe the height: Once you have identified the point on the graph at 3.5 seconds, find the corresponding height of the ball at that time.

4. Choose the most likely height: Based on the trend shown by the graph, make an educated guess or estimate of the height at 3.5 seconds.

Without the actual graph provided, it is difficult to determine the specific height. However, based on the options you provided, the most likely answer is B) approximately 39 m. But it is important to note that this is an estimation and without the graph, it is not possible to determine the exact height at 3.5 seconds.
