Which of these is another way to write the function ƒ(x)=16x?

1) f(x)=4^4x
2) f(x)=2^4x
3_ f(x)=2 ^x/4
4_f(x)=4 ^/x4

I the answer 2, is that correct?

  2. since 2^4 = 16
    f(x) = 16x is the same as f(x) = 2^4 x

    (but why would anybody want to write it in a more complicated way??)

  3. I have no idea Reiny, I really don't. They just want to make this already hard algebra harder ig.
