A strong message presented in Act II of “A Christmas Carol: Scrooge and Marley” is included in the part where Scrooge and The Ghost of Christmas Present watch the feast that the Cratchits have. At first, Scrooge thinks that Bob Cratchit is foolish to have so much for his family. But after seeing the childrens’ reactions, Scrooge realizes that Bob Cratchit is most happy to be with his family, rather than have enough money. Scrooge sees this especially when the children sing. He sees the joy. So the message of this is that “Family is worth more than anything else, even money.”
