A formula for the volume of a triangular prism is v=Bh. Which equation can be used to find B, the area of the shaded base in square centimeters? (H=4 L=6 W=5)

A. B= 5(6)
B. B= 5(6) divided by 2
C. B= 4(5)
D. B= 4(5) divided by 2

Wouldn't it be D? It's either that or C. I belive it's D tho

No.!!! Why divide anything in half?

this is the wrong ansere and where did you get 4 times 5

Then wouldn't it be D then that's what I thought the first time

Where did you get 4 times 5?

Base times height, the height is 4

The 5 is from the width

If the base is flat, you don't need the height. However, I can't see your diagram.

And your answer is?

Would it be L×W then 5× 6
