if a poem has repeating words at the ends, does that count as rhyming?

I am a little confused with this. I dont think it does but heres the poem anyway.
The mind chases happiness.
The heart creates happiness.
The soul is happiness
And it spreads happiness
All-where.
– Sri Chinmoy

Yes, I think it counts as rhyming.

In the case of the poem you provided, the repeating words at the ends of each line do not count as rhyming. This repetition technique is known as refrain, where specific words or phrases are repeated throughout a poem for emphasis or effect. While refrain can add structure and rhythm to a poem, it does not satisfy the traditional definition of rhyming.

Rhyme refers to the similarity of sounds between words, specifically at the end of lines. It is a technique used to create musicality, enhance the flow of the poem, and provide a sense of unity. Rhyming can occur when the final stressed syllables of two or more words share the same sound.

While this particular poem does not demonstrate rhyming, it still employs other poetic techniques like repetition to convey its message.
