Write a list of steps that are needed to find the measure of ∠B?

So is the answer b = 41 or is it b = -5?

Ive done it 2 ways but idk which one it is. Im pretty sure its neither because the answer cant be -5. And i dont think it can be 41 because if you checked it then it would be more than 180 degrees

idk wich is right

Uhm. WHat

Well... you know the measure of an angle cant be -5. So, if you say 41 can't be it either... Maybe they want you to explain why both can not be the correct answer. It is a wee bit hard to explain when I can't see the diagram you are referring too (if there is a diagram : )

Not enough INFO.

A + B + C = 180o.
B = 180 - A - C.

A = 72o.

B = ?
C = 180-113 = 67o.

A + B + C = 180.
72 + B + 67 = 180,
B = 41o.

To find the measure of angle ∠B, we need some additional information such as a diagram, reference points, or given angles. Without further details, it's difficult to provide a specific solution to your question.

However, I can guide you through a general approach to finding the measure of an angle:

1. Gather the necessary information: Make sure you have all the given information, such as angles, side lengths, or any other relevant measurements from the problem or diagram.

2. Identify relevant theorems or properties: Review any relevant theorems or properties that can help you determine the measure of the angle. For example, if you have a triangle, you may consider the properties of triangles or the angles of a triangle sum theorem.

3. Apply relevant theorems or properties: Use the theorems or properties identified in step 2 to set up equations or relationships involving the given values and the unknown angle.

4. Simplify equations and solve: Simplify the equations obtained in step 3 and solve for the unknown angle.

5. Check your solution: Once you find a numerical value for the angle, verify if it is reasonable and satisfies any given conditions. In this case, make sure that the angle does not exceed 180 degrees or go below 0 degrees, as angles cannot be negative and should not exceed a straight angle.

Without the specific details of the problem, it is not possible to determine if the answer is b = 41 or b = -5. However, it seems unlikely that the correct answer is -5 since angles cannot be negative. Additionally, as you mentioned, if the measure of angle B exceeds 180 degrees, then b = 41 would not be correct either.

Make sure to review the given information, the diagram (if available), and the steps you followed to solve the problem. If you have any further details or theorems related to the problem, feel free to provide more information so that I can assist you more accurately.
