If you are driving down the road, how can you tell that the car is moving (think about your reference point)?

I know that the answer is pretty simple, but I just don't know how to put it into words.

If you see the tires moving and wheel turning you would see the car moving!!But.. It defenitly depends weither your moving or whee you are!! Hope this Helps Anonymous

You can tell if you're moving if you see the sign one minute and the next minute you don't. It didn't disappear. You must have moved.

To determine if a car is moving while driving down the road, you can use a reference point. A reference point is an object or location that appears to be stationary and can be used to compare the motion of another object.

In this case, you can use objects outside the car, such as buildings, trees, or road signs, as reference points. If these objects appear to be getting closer or passing by, it indicates that the car is moving. However, if the objects appear to be stationary or if the car is not passing them, it suggests that the car is stationary or moving at the same speed as the surroundings.

Keep in mind that our perception of motion can sometimes be deceiving, especially when traveling at constant speed or when the reference points are moving in relation to each other (like when passing another vehicle). So, it is crucial to use multiple reference points and observe them over a period of time to confirm motion accurately.
