Natalie picked 135 berries in 15 minutes. If she continues picking at that rate, how many total minutes will it take her to pick 486 berries?

There is your answe. If you need help here I am

135berries/15min = 9 berries/min.

9 * T = 486.

Where does the 486 come from

(135min/135berries=x/486 berries) cross multiply these two.

135x=15 x 486

135x/135 = 7,295/135

7,290 divided by 135

Which gives me x=54 min

First we divide 135 by 486, to find how many times she does it. 135 divided by 486 = 3.6, so she did the same cycle of minutes 3.6 times. now we multiply on how many minutes it took to doe each cycle, she did 15 minutes per cycle. 3.6 times 15 = 54. So it took Natalie 54 minutes to pick 486 berries

YUR WELCOME!!! :D

This is fairly simple.

To do this, do this little equation, reply with what your answer is:
486 x 15 / 135
Note: the slash means division.
