Toyland is having a sale. All items are 20% off. How much will you save on an item that usually sells for $95?

I dont get percentages

"percent" means per hundred, so

20% = 20/100 or .2

so just multiply .2*95 = 19 <---- the amount saved.

Also best answer i had my whole Jishka life!

thx

Can anyone help?

To calculate the amount of money you will save on an item that is 20% off, you can follow these steps:

1. Convert the percentage to a decimal by dividing it by 100. In this case, 20 / 100 = 0.2.
2. Multiply the original price by the decimal to find the discount amount. In this case, $95 * 0.2 = $19.
3. The discount amount represents the money you will save on the item. So, for an item that usually sells for $95 and is 20% off, you will save $19.

Therefore, you will save $19 on an item that usually sells for $95 during the sale at Toyland.
