please help me this is an opened ended question

how does the tilt of earths axis and its movement around the sun play a part in the changing of the seasons in the northern hemisphere?

the Earth's axis of rotation (through the north and south poles) is tilted relative to the plane of the Earth's orbit around the Sun

the Earth orbits the Sun once a year (that's where the year comes from)
... the Earth's axis always points in the same direction

so sometimes the northern hemisphere is facing the Sun (summer)
... and sometimes it is facing away (winter)
