Look I read what you guys said on my other post. I went back to my text and this is what is says.Again I am NOT trying to cheat I just need the best opinion on how correct I am.This is what my text says.
The Indians grew their own fruits,vegetables,and grains.They raised cows,sheep, horses,and oxen.American Indians also learned trades such as blacksmithing,carpentry, masonry,and weaving.

The Spainsh missionaries also taught these skills because they believed that becoming Christian was important for the American Indians. Missionaries also felt that American Indians must learn how to live in a settled Spainsh town.To be civilized Christians people needed to settle down and live in towns or cities and have jobs.

Why would priests in Spanish missions in Texas want the American Indians to take on an agricultural lifestyle?
A.The priests wanted to improve the American Indians way of life.
B.The priests believed that the American Indians would have to become civilized.
C.The priests hoped that by teaching the American Indians to farm it would encourage them to adopt more Spanish characteristics.
D.They wanted to improve the American Indians diet.
My answer is B but like I said I am still debating between B and C.

Actually A, B, and C are very close, but since C has more detail in it that matches your text (A and B are more general), that's probably the best choice of the four.
