Describe when the graph of f(x) = ab^x is a horizontal line.?

I thought it was when a=0, but its not...

  2. technically, the graph is never a straight line unless
    a=0 or
    b=1
    But it will approach a horizontal asymptote otherwise, as Reiny suggests.
