There are 6 sides of a cube.
You want one of 2 numbers to show up.

So it's 2/6 chance....or 1/3

I assume that you are talking about a die (Singular for "dice"), it has a total of 6 sides. Therefore, the probability of each number is 1/6.

For "either-or" probabilities, you need to add the probabilities of the individual events.
