hi everybody. I have been trying to answer these true/false question all day, can someone help me please? Are my answers correct?

"Militarism" is warfare that combines the use of infantry, armor, and air power in a fast-moving campaign. I put false & replaced the false word with Blitzkrieg

"Desegregation" is the term used to describe a system where groups from different racial or ethnic groups use the same public accomodations. I put false and replaced the false word with Intergration

The informal end of hostilities when the countries involved in a war agree to stop fighting to negotiate is a "treaty" I picked false and replaced it with Ceasefire.

Before he left office, Eisenhower warned against the increasing power of "decentralization" i put false and put militarization

And I'm stuck on a few:

the concept of expanding colonization and the creation of an empire is known as "jingoism"

An "OPEC" is set up to make political contributions to candidates for elected office.

The new industrial system that allowed for easy and quick assembly was "the corporation"

One way that opposition to the civil war was suppressed was the denial of the right of "ex post facto"

"misdemeanor" is the charging of the president with crimes worthy of removal from office.

Thanks guys <3

The third one could also be armistice, a temporary halt to fighting. The rest of your answers are right.

For the jingoism question, check these definitions.

For OPEC -- check this site.

For the industrial system, check this site.

Ex post facto is not correct for the next statement, but I'm not sure of the answer.

Check this site for the last answer.

Your answer for militarism is correct.
I would say that desegregation and intergration are synomyms... therefore the same definition would apply for both. : "to free of any law, provision, or practice requiring isolation of the members of a particular race in separate units "
The next two are correct.

Check this site on jingoism

Check this site regarding OPEC:

The industrial system that made production easy was the development of the "assembly line".

Check the dictionary for the term misdemeanor -

thank you for the help. One last thing though: If opec is the petroleum organization, then what is set up for political contributions? Wait a minute, is it apac!? or Apec/epac..I don't remember exactly but i remember learning about it.

general thomas "stonewall" jackson led confederate troops to victory during the first battle of bull run

Yes, you are correct. OPEC stands for the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries, which is a group of countries that control the production and pricing of oil. They are not involved in making political contributions.

The organization you might be thinking of for political contributions is AIPAC, which stands for the American Israel Public Affairs Committee. AIPAC is a lobbying group that advocates for strong U.S.-Israel relations and often makes political contributions.

APEC, on the other hand, stands for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation. It is an organization made up of 21 Pacific Rim countries, including the United States, China, and Japan, among others. APEC focuses on promoting economic cooperation and free trade among its member countries.

EPAC is not a commonly-known acronym, and I could not find any relevant organization associated with it. It's possible you may have been thinking of a different acronym.
