Technological change often stimulates economic activity, suck as the factories that grew out of the Industrial Revolution. Think of what you have learned about the past 100 years. What technological change do you think has created the most economic activity over that time? Explain your answer in a well-written paragraph, including support for your opinions.

So what do you think? TV, medicine, computers, just to name three that might get you started.

i don't understand why it says : Think of what you have learned about the past 100 years.

Technological changes since 1909?

TV
radio
planes
computers
internet
mobile/cell phones

TV created billions of dollars in scripts, actors, advertising.

Computers and their peripherals created billions of dollars in software and other hardware.

Internet is growing so fast -- but includes advertising, software, etc.

Planes transport billions of people and goods around the world.

What do you think has created the most economic activity?

I think the thing that has created the most economic acticity is computers (which u already said) because there are alot of jobs out there that require computers, and without them there would be alot less jobs.

That's a good start. You should probably add details about the jobs that the invention of computers have created.

are these 5 economic activities that i performed in the past few days?

paper route
babysitting
homework
worked hard for allowance
went to homework club
#1 is one because it increases my wealth
#2 is one also because it increased my wealth
#3 is one because it is improving my life
#4 also because it increases my wealth
#5 is one because it is improving my life
are these right? plz help!

I don't see how homework and homework club are economic activities. If you earned money by delivering newspapers, babysitting, and doing household chores, then those are economic activities.

Economic activities mean earning or spending money.

Buying stuff is also an economic activity because you're spending money.

ooh ok because in my book it said that economic activities are also thing that improve peoples lives, but i must have gotten confused on wht it meant by that. WHat if i change those to answers to bought a sweater, then bought boots, because i was spending money for both

Yes. Spending money on a sweater and boots are economic activities.

yes! ok im finished all my homework now:) thnks ms sue u rock!
